With the pace of change in business today happening faster than a CD spinning in a drive, there comes a time when a person loses orientation and focus in the business. This is where a completely different approach, and a different vision, is required to survive. The business needs to expand and grow, and this is where business coaching comes into the picture. The vision needs to be examined and built upon. And, it is also very important to select the right coach.
If a person were in, what we call, an idea to business to billions then they would require an Incubation Business Coach. If they are zero to three years old in business, they need a Startup Business Coach. Hitting three years in a business is a critical stage, and the need then is to hire a Business Breakthrough Coach. For weaker organizations, an Organizational Coach is required.
Another trend, especially is among Fortune 500 companies, is to use specialty coaches for specific needs. This is done to save or rebuild an employee as rehiring, especially at senior management levels, is a costly affair. Business coaching involves a lot of brainstorming, with the coach asking the right questions. In fact, business coaching is primarily about questioning and exploration. The plan of action comes after this stage, and is jointly derived by the coach and the pupil, with the coach showing the most correct path to success.
However, the most critical component, which creates success, is people. But people bring their personal issues to the company. The Business Coach cannot afford to neglect this fact, and might in fact suggest personal coaching in certain cases.
So the question arises, can Business Coaches create Multiple Profit Centers, or MPCs, by selling their expertise in more ways than one? It is seen that there are specialty coaches for different purposes and for the different stages of a business. But the fact remains that the basic qualities required for all these different business coaches remain the same. So does the idea and the need of Business Coaches. Here lies the opportunity of selling the expertise in multiple ways. It is preferable that revenue comes from multiple clients and from multiple sources other than the primary service. Here, the primary service can be that specialized coaching field in which the coach has been trained. But this coach can also venture into other more generalized coaching, with the skills and expertise acquired from practicing over a period of time.
Another good idea would be coaching others to become a coach (after all, coaches also require training and coaching). Apart from these, a Business Coach can venture into writing self-help books and motivational books, both in print and the electronic format. A professional writer can be hired to put the coachs ideas into words. And apart from regular coaching/consulting, one can also venture into providing e-courses and teleclasses/telecourses, at membership subscription websites. The advances in Information Technology has made all this possible, and thus it opens up different avenues of making money without necessarily spending too much to create a set-up.
Hence, one can always utilize the knowledge and content, and then re-purpose and repackage them for profit in multiple ways.

So you have decided that you are ready to move to being a home based business owner. Now the big question is how to go about picking the right network marketing business for you. With the thousands of opportunities out there the influx of information can become completely overwhelming. Below are seven things for you to keep in mind when looking for your home business.
) Is the home based business something you will enjoy? Sit down and write out what you would like to do if you had all of the free time and the money in the world. Then take that list and start searching. There are so many businesses out there- travel, health, candles, crafts, internet stores, and photography just to name a few. The absolute worst thing that you could do to yourself would be to get started in a business that you had no interest in at all. Think about that job that you hate going to but that you drag yourself to day after day. You want your business to be so exciting to you that you cannot wait to get started everyday.
2) How much does it cost and what is your return on investment? Let’s face it- when you are looking at a home based business you will be investing not only your time but your money. You can find network marketing businesses out there ranging from $50 to $20,000. Even at the high end they will still be thousands and thousands of dollars less than starting a traditional business such as a store or restaurant. Your budget is important but just as important is your return on investment. How many sales do you have to make to recoup your investment? How much money do you have to spend on a monthly basis? Does your team have to have a certain volume in order for you to get paid? What is the cost of day to day running of your business such as websites and advertising? All of these things come into play when looking at a home based business.
3) How do you sell your product? There are several ways that you can sell product in home businesses. The most popular are internet presentations, phone presentations, weekly meetings at hotels or conference rooms, home parties, and one on one meetings. All of them are very successful ways of promoting a business but some may not work for you.
4) Where is your level of drive, determination, and motivation? Anyone who tells you that starting a home based business requires no effort is flat out lying to you. While it may be simple it is not always easy. You MUST sit down and determine where you are in your desire to change your life. Do not “give it a try” or “just see if it works out”. If you do this you are dead in the water before you even start. If you have a hard time motivating yourself to get off the couch on a daily basis then a home based business may not be the one for you. If you know that you are sick and tired of being sick and tired and you are willing to be persistent, teachable, and positive then you can make it work.
5) How is the support system for your business? A great business will be one in which you have assistance on every level. There will be support calls or support numbers for you to call. You will have access to leaders on a daily basis. You will have a proven, easy to use marketing system at your fingertips. There will be lots of training to assist you in developing your business. Last but not least you will know that even if your sponsor is no longer in the business you will have no problems getting the assistance that is necessary for you to succeed.
6) Is the product you are selling something people are buying? In today’s economy people are slowly cutting things out of their budget as things get tighter and tighter in their household. Traditionally, home based businesses soar during times of recession as people begin looking for ways to make another income. In the past, when hard times hit, leisure are one of the last things to slow as people want to escape their realities. It has been shown that movie theaters, casinos, travel- all of the things that people think are fun- stay the same or grow even though common sense would dictate they would be smaller. Everyday staples seem to stay about the same and the items that get cut are those unnecessary items in between. Keep this in mind as you are searching your options.
7) Who are you running your business by before you get started? The following explanation may seem harsh but trust me, your friends and family may not have your best interests at heart. When looking for advice for your business don’t go to someone who is in the same broke position as you are. Find the most successful person you know, someone with vision, someone who is moving towards their goals and dreams. Then sit down with them, share your goals and dreams, and the business that you are looking at and get their true opinion. 98% of people are chasing after their tail and will still be doing the same thing ten years from now. You want the opinion of the 2% who aren’t.
Good luck in your search!

One of the major aspects in business card printing is the color of the cards. Color business cards provide a way to customize your business card with your own personal look. For certain, business card printing companies are ready to print custom business cards with every color of the rainbow. A client is always right, so if you want to print business cards with your favorite color like electric pink, then why not?
Of course keep in mind that colors have their meanings. So your color business cards will not only give your pertinent details to someone, they will also display your personality and image. It is important to know how colors are perceived by people and how this will affect their perception of you. To help you choose a color for your business card, below is a list of the common colors of business cards and their perceived meanings. Choose well and choose wisely.
Standard White First of course, we have the standard white. Almost everybody uses white business cards. If you are just starting out in business card printing then white is probably the safest choice. A white business card is of course universally accepted, and all kinds of designs and images work with white. It is basically a blank canvass to work on really. Of course, be aware that since white is the standard color; it tends to be the most boring and mundane. Almost everybody has a white business card, how will you stand out?
Elegant Black Black is well, interesting. As the saying goes, you can pair any color with black. Since it contrasts almost any kind of color, a black business card definitely stands out in the sea of white and colored business cards. Black is a nice solid color to use and a lot of business card printing companies are equipped to print them. Add that with contrasting silver or gold lettering and you have a nice and elegant color business card.
The Red Card The red business card is of course something eye catching. If a woman in a red dress speaks of a subtle beauty and passion, then that is how a red business card operates. Of course not everyone can pull off a red business card. It depends on your personality and of course your industry. But there is no question of the impact of a red business card. It turns eyes and roller decks.
Subdued colors On the general side of color business cards, subdued and light colors are the best way to use color business cards without straying too much from a safe white business card. The subtle hint of color adds some personality to a business card and it doesn’t risk an intense reaction like a red or black business card. Of course, subdued and light colors still have a few qualities that are like standard white business cards. Unfortunately they can also run into the same pitfalls.
Bright Colors Brighter and fuller colors of course offer the complete impact of your chosen favorite color. Using these kinds of colors makes your business card more personal and it gives its own unique impact. A pink or neon green business card for example may gain looks. However this may also run the risk of looking too unprofessional. The safest way to use full bright colors is to only use one color at the most. If you use more color combinations, it might look cute, but it will also look more informal. This if course depends on your industry. If you are into a more casual line of work it may be fine, but for corporate types this might be frowned upon.
So have you chosen a color? Achieve a balance between your personality and your business environment and you should have the correct business card color to choose from. Be as eye catching and as decent looking as possible with color business cards.
